History
The city of Sudar, founded by the Sudar family in 290 BD, was one of the few major settlements to survive The Divergence along with their rivals, Katar. However, after the eruption of Mt. Katar and the fall of the Katarios Dynasty the Sudar family managed to take control of most of the continent, pulling it out of the ensuing dark ages it had been in for 25 years.
