Molten Cay

Geography

A small island that sits on a volcanic hotspot south of the continent of Pascura. It is uninhabited and barren. There is a main volcano on the south part of the island, the shores surrounding this section are of black sand. To the north and east there are two smaller islands that have formed from debris ejected during the last few eruptions. The Molten Cay volcano last erupted 10 years ago and is still active.

History

There is a tale that tells of a selfish captain that once marooned his crew on the shores of Molten Cay and sailed off with his lover and all the ship's treasure. However, they were supposedly shipwrecked south of the island when a storm blew in. It is said that none of the marooned crew survived.
