Government

The town is governed by a mayor that is elected every year by townsfolk who have lived there for over two years. The mayor controls most of the towns affairs but has a small council of the local guilds. The current mayor is Heston Vorth who has been in power for nearly two years.

Defences

Small stone wall surrounding the main governmental building. A low wooden palisade surrounding the main town and a small garrison of Crown's Guard.

Industry & Trade

Exports stone from the open mines and quarries surrounding the town and clay from the clay quarries on the river. Imports most of the food and materials that are not made nearby.

Infrastructure

Small trading port along the river Fesh, that allows for trading between the coastal town of Feshmouth.

Same guilds as the rest of the continent just in smaller numbers and emphasis on different aspects of them.

History

Lorm began as a small hamlet of farmers and potters that used the readily available clay along the banks of the Fesh to make and export fine pottery. Since them pottery has been a major part of Lorm's economy.

Tourism

Lorm is a picturesque town on the banks of the river Fesh that entices only a specific few, mainly those either interested in the historical significance of local pottery or those searching for a guide into the hostile Penumbra Range to the north west.

Architecture

Many buildings are low with stone walls and gently sloping wooden roofs. The main distinguisher from any other normal town in Pascura is the abundance of local pottery, it is in their kitchens, in their taverns and even in their shops.

Geography

Lorm is situated on the west bank of the river Fesh about 45 miles upstream, to the east on the other side of the river is a wood and to the soth west the vast Penumbra Range
