Tabaxi

Basic History

The Tabaxi (Caolo) inhabited the deserts of Trama before anyone else after the fall of the Elder Society. It was around the third century of the third era when the other surface dwellers met them. Before their induction into society, the tabaxi were tribal nomads. Since their induction into civilization, a majority of their people continued on as travelers and traders. It is not uncommon to have met a tabaxi peddler strolling through town with wondrous stories and useful goods.

Culture

Known to most as some of the greatest traders, bards, and thieves, most tabaxi, even in their own lands, are nomads. Many of their traditions revolve around story telling and traveling. Their god, Story, was introduced to the rest of civilization when they were. Since then, a select few have became clerics and paladins in his name. Many still debate the nature of his being, so the varied clerics and paladins often worship certain aspects of tales and legends instead. Such aspects being the light domain for the goodness of a hero's heart or the trickster domain for the inevitable twists and turns in any adventure.
