Seres

Daughter of springtime, Seres is the new growth and life that comes with the passing of winter. She is the untamed wilds on the far edges of the empire, the wild doe dashing through the underbrush. She is the patron of the harvest, and her clergy are as much wild-eyed sages in the wilds as they are gentle-hearted priestesses at the heart of farming communities.   Seres is pictured as a slender young woman with long hair and dressed in a flowing toga-like gown and covered in flowering vines. When depicted in color, her skin is darkly tanned, her hair is golden blonde, and her eyes are a warm glittering emerald. Most frequently, she carries wheat in one hand and hunting spear in the other. Her head is topped with a crown made of antlers.   Druids frequently give praise to Seres, and her temple is always surrounded by farmland or a small nature preserve. Most offerings to Seres are things gathered from the wild or taken from the farmland.
