Talamh A World of Separated Connection

Talamh is a continent built upon separation. In its recorded history of ten millennia, the continent has shifted and evolved constantly, waxing and waning under the rule of different powers often diametrically opposed to one another. The two greatest of these have been lines stretching back for thousands of years: those of the Fey, and those of the Tief.
These peoples stationed in opposition towards one another on the stage of the world must now coexist in a world changing faster than their old wounds can even begin to scar. The freshness of Talish bloodshed lives on in the memory of the Fey of the Seasonal Courts who lived to see the pain of yesteryear while the ambitions of the first conquering insurgents thrive in the systems created by the theocratic Tiefling League of Clans. Yet, these people pray to the same gods, eat the same foods, drink of the same rainwater and snowmelt – their fates are ever intertwined. The cycle of hurt, of suffering itself, must be ceased for the land to become whole as it is meant to be.
