Sir Volkhard Schmidt

There truly is a ghost haunting the cemetery. None other than the ghost of one of the founding members of Payne, Sir Volkhard Schmidt Hero of the War Against the Orcs. His battle cry of "Cut Them All Down!" is still brazenly visible on his monument in the center of the Cemetery.
Quest: At midnight on the 5th of every month the ghost comes out and begins to wail so loud that he can be heard from any point in Payne. If the adventurers engage in conversation with the ghost, they will learn of a fabled greatsword they can find located in a dungeon in the mountains to the northwest, past the great dessert a ten day journey from Payne.
Flaming Sword of Schmidt This greatsword is none other than the fabled "Troll Bane" a legendary vicious greatsword once owned by the dwarven king Ruferd Flametongue.
