Cong 'Roy' Gnoddaalx (Wizard)

Roy found himself lost and eventually wandered into the city limits nearby with nothing on him, only the clothes on his back. He tried many times out of survival to steal and salvage what he could, but failed miserably. Until one day he met an urchin in the city who took him under his wing and began to train him in many different techniques. In the city he learned to steal and survive under his new mentor within the city limits.   One day out on his own interests he decides to be brave and show his worth by stealing from someone that is considered the most fearful wizard in the city. But Roy was caught and the fearful wizard instead of condemning him decides now Roy must stay and serve as a servant in order to pay for his misdeeds.During this time the wizard decides to use Roy as a subject to test new magic upon. Roy became a minion of the wizard for whenever the wizard wanted to test a new spell and effect that it will have, Roy was to be the test subject. To add insult to injury Roy would also be responsible for taking care of restocking all the magical supplies needed for the wizards spells and incantations used during the experiments.   One night while cleaning the books a grimoire started to whisper in Roy’s ear. At first Roy felt a strange sensation almost as if some unseen energy pulling him to the book on the shelf. At first Roy was hesitant to go near the bookshelf or even take the book from the shelf. He finally dared to open the book and find out what was compelling him so much that he could no longer resist the temptations of this strange force guiding him to this book. He found upon opening this new and mysterious book, that he could read and understand it without ever having seen the language or glyphs before that night. That same night he decided to try one of the books summoning texts. After careful consideration and concentration he succeeded in summoning the owl. Roy thought to himself that this was so easily done and could gain a profit for himself. At this point Roy’s imaginations with all the wonderful coin he could make was going out of control. Soon he thought what other mysteries and magic he could learn from all the wonderful books that he had suddenly found himself surrounded by. He read all the books he could and was able to understand and learn from. Finally one night after rummaging through all the remaining books he needed to learn from, he left the study with books scattered across the floor. He stole from the wizard all of his magical materials in which he would need in order to cast his newly acquired spells. From that night on he would be his own master and made an escape from the wizard.   Now after escaping from the wizard Roy has decided to set out across the land to adventure and find ways to fill his coin purse.
