Elijah Sul-Rima

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Elijah was born on the Great Western Plain and lived there with his family and their caravan of traders. They were simple folk; hunting and selling the nearby areas. His father, Logan, son of Lexar was a Ranger who hunted for and lead the other families of the village. His mother, Laura, daughter of Serena was a Druid who worshipped Gozreh, the god of nature.   When Elijah turned 7, a group of Drow came for his village. They were a group of assassin drow males who take non-drow boys into the nethers of the world to enslave them. They teach these slaves how to be rogue assassins and then send them to the surface to do their bidding so that he female drow rulers don't have to suffer from their sunlight sensitivity. When the village refused to cooperate a fight ensued and the entire village was slaughtered except for Elijah, who was lucky enough to slip away. He made it to the elven city of Avalon and raised the alarm. Immediately, the elves within the city took vengeance against the drow, destroying their forces in the weeks to come.   It was the captain of the guard, Dorian Agar-Ithil, who swore to take Elijah in, train him, and bring him up as one of their own - his family and village were well-known traders and the elves were appreciative of them. In true elf tradition, Elijah was given the second name, Sul-Rima (meaning wind-runner) for his uncanny swiftness matching even that of his Elven comrades.   Following in his father's footsteps, Elijah became a ranger. Perhaps seeking vengeance, he has joined the trainees of the Gloom Stalker order. His goal is to hold back the forces of the unnatural world that live within the deep places of the earth and, to that end, he has made his way to Tarry Town, seeking to explore and search the Zerndahl Mine for any trace of Drow or dark entities.
