Edo

Edo (ee-doh) is the patron deity of humans. He is the god of hard work and of the blind. He is almost plain-looking, with copper skin, long, rippling black hair, a permanent scruff on his cheeks, and eyes the color of moonlight. He is surprisingly short and broad-shouldered, and usually has a guarded expression. He usually wears simple clothes dyed dark brown.
He is worshipped by humans of all kinds. Some of his more fanatic followers join the inquisition for they believe Edo to actually be all the gods. They believe Edo is THE only god. The naivety of these followers is their most distinguishing trait. They are often referred to as being blind to the truth by outsiders. This insult is actually misinterpreted and welcomed by these worshippers as Edo is the god of blindness.
Edo is known to have a kindness for the blind. Those few that choose to serve him are granted a divine sense that is not quite sight, but can show them images in their mind of what is happening around them.
It is rumored that Edo was once a human, but there are no true records of his existence. Many noble families claim a common heritage with Edo's mortal form. No claims have ever been officially proven or disproven.
Edo cares greatly for humans and guides those heroes that ask for his help.
Holy symbol: A small rectangular mirror framed in carved wood and most often worn around the neck tied to a string.
