Taerekel Calendar

Taerekel has a 12 month calendar of 365 days, 7 months with 30 days and 5 months with 31 days.

Most 31 month days mark the beginning of something, but not all. The naming convention is very old, draconic based, and tells a story that is frankly rather miserable. Menos has 17 holidays widely recognized across the entirety of the continent.

The following abbreviations are used in determining where a year falls among the various ages:

• AWC is the current age, standing for After War Collapse. This is any time post the collapse of the Age of War.
• PDI is the previous age, standing for Post Divine Inheritance. This is accounts for years from before AWC, going back as far as the end of the Age of Titans.
• ETL is short for Elemental Titan Lordship. This is the specific period of pre-history where the only creatures of any sentience on the Prime Material plane were Titans, Dragons, and eventually Giants. Dragons and Giants are often referred to as titans descriptively today.

The root word is Draconic for Love.
Itovus has two holidays:

All campaigns should preferably take place after 4190 AWC to be accurate with the majority of the World Anvil content.

Flight of the Empress begins in the year 4198 AWC during late Witanius.
Menos 4191 (working title) begins on Ulnausus 19, 4191 AWC.
