Orcs

Orcs have roots in warfare as slaves of their creator Gruumsh, who drove them to brutal acts against other races in the name of his own spites. Gruumsh is now dead and they have been allowed to find their own path. While they hold military and strength in high esteem they are a well-intentioned bunch with a very communal society. Worship of the goddess Luthic is almost all you'll find from the orcs in the south-western continent, where Luthic herself still lives among the mortals and makes herself known from time to time. Despite the fall of Gruumsh, many other races (elves and humans especially) harbor some pretty nasty feelings toward orcs, and they are stereotyped as brutish and short-tempered.
