The Dull Era is the first of the four major eras: The Dull, The Low, The High, and The Departure. It's unique in that Magic didn't exist at all during it.

The Dull Era is characterized by slow growth of settlements, and lack of warfare and innovation. It spans many years, and ends with The Pulse.
