Auero

Auero, also known as the Knight of Dusk or Weilder of Moonlight, is the god of the moon, night, and illusion. He is said to be the son of the Mother Goddess, Saia, as well as the twin brother of the Matron of Dawn, Cylia.

Appearance ...

He is typically depicted as the very embodiment of the moon--cold pale skin with beautiful, flowing locks that mimic the cold glow of the moon itself. His legends often show a supposed union or rivalry with his twin sister since their birth. He is often depicted with a cold expression and soft worry. With eyes as beautiful as the night sky, he is often shown with silver cuffs at his ankles, a thigh-length robe that hangs off his shoulder, and a moonlit shawl.

Those who pray to Auero worship the very moon itself and what it may represent -- Protection from the light, aid to the tides, frigid winter itself, or the origin of illusion magic that the moon is said to provide to those who wish for it.
