We reave and plunder. Take what's ours by right, given unto us by the Allfathir. Gold and trinkets we do not need, not really. 'Tis the clash of steel, boiling of blood, dance with Death we crave. This too, is rightfully given to us by our God. And for all these gifts granted to us, we must be ready to give back in return in equal measure. It is the Rauthmann who protects this world from the monsters in the north. It is the Rauthmann who gives his life protecting those who hate him. It matters not in the end. The runes were cast long ago and it could not have gone any other way; this is why I do not despair. A true son of Wótann accepts what cannot be changed and strives on against impossible odds. A true Rauthmann celebrates those odds, for with greater hardship comes greater chance for glory. Glory brings Wótann's gaze upon you and a chance to become exalted, a true Jǫtunn.
