Eyseon

Damaged by wars before history, Eyseon still bears the great chasms that spider through its land, and the near uninhabitable wastes of the torne. In times past, the nations of Eyseon fought in constant war over the broken land and relics of ancient empires. Until a dire threat rose from a mysterious people known as the whispering ones. When the whispering ones' ambitions and power revealed themselves, the people and nations of the land rallied together to drive back the threat, banishing them seemingly from this world.

An uneasy truce was formed then, and that was just over a millennia ago. Now danger rises again, as news trickles in of the torneland tribes allying beneath a single banner. The alliances of last millennia have thinned, and unease settles in all nations as the rulers slowly decide whether they shall unite again, or re-ignite ancient wars

Adventurers in this land could be many things depending on where they are from. They may be treasure hunters, diplomats, defenders of the lands or soldiers of the nations. An adventuring party from one nation may be well respected in their home and their allies homes, but treated with caution or even antipathy in other lands.
