Firearm

A firearm is a new category of weaponry currently being prototyped by the Directorate of Firearms within Bastiynia's Department of Discovery. It utilizes the explosive capabilities of black powder to propel bullets through a directed barrel.

History

Until Mirtul 855, the Department of Discovery was the only group permitted to manufacture or utilize firearms. Due to the Bastiynia-Metalloid Crisis, the Directorate of Firearms began licensing its production to private manufacturers as a means to bolster the republic's military.
