The Conflict

The main issue in the world of Supplier is the Arcanese Genocide. Started by the Leoline Dynasty of Northal, this genocide began with their ascent to the throne. It ended the centuries-long alliance of the Arcane Legion and the Crown of Northal. Because they were more powerful than fullhumans, resentment towards and fear of Arcanes grew and the Crown wished to remove any threat to their Imperial conquest. So, in an attempt to eradicate the subspecies, the first Leoline King of Northal declared it illegal for Arcanes to reside in any territory under their rule. This was to be under pain of death. Understandably, the Arcanes were outraged. They went into hiding, created hidden bases, and protected their school from government interference. Still, many were killed or imprisoned. These included: Robert Aanjay, father of William, Audrey, Greyson, and Megan Aanjay and Lord of Biruitor Obaith; Lupei Holublair, Cheiftain of the Arcanese People and Arcane Council; Latanya and Tirion Leoline, Prince and Princess of Northal; Dannika, Kajnd, James, and Celadore Holublair,wife and children of the Chieftain. Anger began building, but reached it's peak after the slaying of the Chieftain's family and the burning of the Dehn. Because of this, Alaric attempted to kill his heir when he discovered his wife's (and children) heritage. Throughout his reign, he broke many Laws of Kingship, making him the Illegal King. Therefore, his heir, not he, could claim the right to the throne. Because of this, Aife Adelaide Leoline, Estelle of Northal and Chieftainess of the Arcanes, holds claim to the Throne of Northal. Being an Arcane, she has the chance to change the laws to stop the killing of her kind. She is the chance the Arcanes have been waiting for to stage an uprising, and they can bring much of the population to their side after the many crimes Alaric committed against his people.
