Failing Potential (Call)

Call was the second story of the chronicle.

Plot

In this Story The Penultima get involved in various parts of Consilium and Order business. Most notably, Sojack is recruited by Melchi Zedek to help the Silver Ladder with their ley line reconfiguration plans, while Pénghoú is tasked by Uriel to join a Legacy and write down what he learns. Arondight hunts down the Leaden Hand from Mira Castellani on behalf of his mentor, Excalibur.
But out of nowhere, tragedy strikes: The Potential asks for the Penultima's help, as Bandit and Emerald went missing and soon after were found dead. Nestor uses Shifting Sands to buy the group some time to save Bandit. While tracking down the Banishers they learn the hostile willworkers had also come in conflict with Seers of the Throne, which the characters would soon learn were Ultima Holdings. Through various time shenanigans, the protagonists managed to corner the Banishers and defeat them, but not in time to save Bandit, but at least Emerald was fine this time around.
In the Banishers' possesions the group found a strange object, later identified as The Thorn, but suddenly an invisible force drags it out of Sojack's hands before it could have be studied.
This would lead someone to intervene, as the chronicle continued in The Thorn.
