Vanus

Vanus is apparently an exceedingly powerful Scelestus mage, his Path unknown. He has acted as mysterious benefector toThe Penultima multiple times, but according to Guardian information, that the cabal has become privy to, he is an exceptionally powerful, canny and infamous Scelestus, perhaps even an archmaster, or humanoid gulmoth. This has made the Penultima increasingly wary of associating with him any further.

He has directed the Penultima towards the Thorn and supposedly saved Arondight's life at least once, though this may be a trick.

Magic

His actual magical capabilities are unknown. The Wicked's actions in the Astral Realms imply some command of Mind, and if his warning to Arondight was not a trick, he presumably is at least an Initiate of Time.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Vanus is seemingly very old, his body exceptionally gaunt and weak. He supports himself with a walking cane and dresses immaculately.
His astral appearance is exceptionally strange: The Wicked appears as a humanoid mass of fog, with only a hint of eyes where his head should be; or simply as a dressed, person-shaped void.
