Sunless Horizon

The stars are dead. The last life survives on Ein Soph, a massive arkship run by the AI Keter. Keter's programming commands Him to protect humanity until the Ishtar Program completes itself and He opens a doorway into a new universe.   Humanity lives in the Empyrean, a 5 mile long cylinder in the center of the arkship. Within the Empyrean, Keter is worshipped as a god, and His word is law.   Outside of the Empyrean, Keter's biotech projects lived in fractured societies. The Navigator Houses say they rule the world, and guide the ship to Heaven. The Teareater Cults cultivate virulent fungi and strange poisons to help them survive in the tight halls of Ein Soph.   Keter's Disciples, an army of reprogrammed machines, march through Ein Soph on the hunt for life - anything left alive could be a threat to humanity. They carry incredible devices: memetic infoplagues, nanobot swarms, and weapons of burning light.
