Sunerda

The Perfect Masterpiece of powerful deities, Sunerda embodies the Principles and Ideals of goodness and justice. Or so these deities thought... Sunerda is a land where evil rarely arises, but when it happens it surely is a great threat. The main continent is where most of the intelligent races live, while far-off to the north lies a mysterious island full of savage creatures and monsters. Sunerda recently lived many conflicts and cataclysms. First of all, an event known as the War of Guilds put the whole world in a dire conflict, no accounts exist about the tragic war but what is sure is that after it nations ceased to exist and many different people struggled to find a new order. Then, some years after the conflict, a dark cloud arrived from the north and covered all of the main continent for many centuries, ensuing a cold, dark age full of famines and wars known as the Long Winter. Fortunately, thanks to new technological advancements, the dark cloud was dispersed and prosperity came back to Sunerda. At the moment, the main continent hosts three major countries, the Duarvic Kingdom, the Lyrgian League and the Draconic Empire, the former always in contrast with the latter, keeping the world on the verge of a war. Deities seem to have abandoned their Masterpiece while clerics draw power directly by ideals like life, knowledge, arcana and so on. Recently, the forgotten island of Kontonyus in the north has been finally rediscovered and a race for colonisation has ensued. What mysteries will it bring...?
