Sunata

The land of Sunata is an enormous planet that was once thriving, a world that had mastered space flight and advanced technologies, true A.I and robotics, advanced cybernetics, energy weapons, bombs, tanks and other such tech. A civilisation dominated by a race nobody can seem to decide on, some believe it was humanity, some that it was a precursor race that fell to extinction, and others still that it was one of the native hives of bug men. This civilisation was doomed to fall, and nobody quite agrees on how, some say they were fighting an ancient enemy from beyond the stars, others believe they upset the spirits, who then cursed them to fall, some religions claim it to be the work of one god or another, destroying them for their hubris. Regardless of whatever truly happened to that ancient empire, the world has begun anew, and over the thousands of years since the great collapse almost all of the ancient secrets to their technology was lost. Now new empires are rising, while the common man lays dying in the sand.   Our world can be a cruel place, but the world of Sunata can be far, far crueler. Most people on Sunata are locked in an intense fight for survival. Those outside the city walls live in fear of the hazardous environment and the deadly animals that prowl the wilderness. The most fearsome predator on the planet however can be found whether you're inside a city or not, other people. Whether it's those desperate enough to turn to banditry, slave traders looking for a free captive, violent gangs or territorial locals.
