Siegewalt's Legend

This wanderer has inspired many to take up his drunken style of fighting. He was a legend, taking on the stone elves that threatened to end the war-prone nation of Haderde; making a mountain out of their cracked stone hides that still stands to this day, He embarrassed the arrogant battle-mages of Novistrava, even supposedly slaying a dragon. But there was always something people noticed about this joyful man, If you talk to the few remaining people that are still alive after all these years that met him so long ago, they all say the same thing he seemed somber and seemed to find excuses to stay around people. but he always left in a hurray, I believe this man that has done so much incredible deeds was running from something. Now I don't know what he was running from but I don't think he was trying to escape something physical rather something emotional. I believe he was running from loneliness but what I don't understand is running away seemed to have the opposite effect and make him even more lonely than before. The last we heard of Siegewalt was when he went to slay the dragon at Amician Island. He was never heard from again.   Written in the Journal of Solis Amica.
Magic against Might
Novistrava was a country with extreme prejudice against non-magic users. So much so they believed all non-magical races as inferior. A Warlock by the name of Luvon "challenged" a travelling mercenary for looking him in the eyes. The Mercenary revealed his name to be Siegewalt and agreed to the challenge but asked if he could share a drink with the elvish mage. Luvon shook his head in disgust, the idea of shareing a drink with a cracked vessel made him sick to his stomach. The Battle-mage and the wanderer took their places and before Luvon could even think about casting a spell, a massive sword cleaved him in two, The proud elf died a disgrace for loosing to a piece of scrap metal and Siegewalt left before any guard could get a hold of him.   A common story in Haderde and Novistrava, Although very different in their respective countries.
