Explosive and Morphic Weapons

Explosive Weapons

Explosive Weapons are weapons that have been given added functionality by being able to discharge cartridges for extra effects or alternate forms of attack. Reloading Explosive Weapons is a full-round action that provokes an attack of opportunity and is affected by reload feats as a two-handed firearm. This is instead a Standard Action for One-Handed Explosive Weapons. Use of the Discharge capabilities of explosive weapons require firearm proficiency. All Explosive Weapons are Exotic Weapons but can be treated as Martial Weapons if you don't use the Discharge capabilities of the weapon and the Base Weapon is Martial. If a Paired Morphic Weapon is also an Explosive Weapon, it combines the number of loaded Cartridges of both weapons in Two-Handed Form instead of the normal amount but cannot be reloaded again until it is in Paired Form. Explosive Weapons Cost +3000gp, this is increased by an extra +2000gp if it's a Paired Morphic Weapon. You cannot make a weapon that is already combined with a firearm also an explosive weapon.   Meteoric Weapons(Two-Handed Swinging Weapons)
Meteoric Weapons can hold up to 2 Meteor Cartridges, when you make a Power Attack you can discharge a cartridge to treat your BAB as 4 higher for the duration of the Power Attack effect. During this duration you don't suffer Glancing Blows.   Skypiercer Weapons(Piercing Weapons)
Skypiercer Weapons can hold up to 3 Skypiercer Cartridges, when making an attack you can discharge a cartridge to ignore Outreach AC bonus and treat your weapon's reach as if it was 5-ft longer for the attack. When you make this attack, you treat them as flat-footed. You can only do this once against an aware foe in a combat as they are now on guard against further attempts, but you still gain the other benefits of discharging a cartridge.   Dragonfire Weapons(Polearms, Blades and Shields)
Dragonfire weapons are weapons that have the ability to discharge more varied cartridges than the above weapons. Dragonfire Weapons can discharge a cartridge as a Standard Action, or a Swift Action if you hit with the weapon that round. You may also substitute one of your attacks in a full-attack action. This Discharge targets an enemy you threaten that allows a Reflex Save (DC 15 + Dex modifier + Enhancement Bonus) for half damage. A Discharge from a Two-Handed weapon is 1d10, a Discharge from a One-Handed weapon is 1d8, and a Discharge from a Shield is 1d6. This is for a medium sized weapon, different sizes change damage accordingly. The damage type is based on the Cartridge used but is normally Fire damage. Two-Handed Dragonfire weapons can hold 4 Cartridges that can be fired before they have to be reloaded, 3 for One-Handed weapons and 2 for Shields.   Dragonfire Weapons have an alternate fire mode called Ignition that uses all stored cartridges. You can charge a Dragonfire weapon as a full round action which provokes an attack of opportunity. If you are hit, you may reattempt to charge the following round. The next Round after completing a charge you must release the stored energy in a concussive blast in a 15-ft cone dealing damage equal to a d8 per Cartridge Loaded as a standard action. If you fail to release the stored energy, it will go off at the end of your turn in a random direction and include you within the cone. If the weapon discharges in this way you do not get a saving throw to reduce the damage taken. A Reflex Save (DC 15 + Dex modifier + Enhancement Bonus) for half damage. Ignition can be reused after 1d(Cartridges Loaded)+1 rounds. This damage type is based on the Cartridges used but is normally Fire damage. If a damage type associated with a Status Cartridge is reduced to 0 the status effect is also negated. If you load different cartridges prior to using Ignition the d8s are split based on the Cartridges used. Eg. 1 Heat and 1 Chill is 1d8 Fire, 1d8 Cold. You can't apply the same status effect multiple times with an Ignition.   For Every +1 Enhancement Bonus the number of die rolled for a discharge increases by 1 and increases Ignition damage by a d8 per Cartridge Loaded.

Morphic Weapons

Morphic Weapons are made to efficiently morph to a second weapon. While in each form they count as their respected weapons. As a move action you can morph the weapon, this is treated as sheathing and is reduced to a free action with the quickdraw feat. Morphic Weapons are not enchanted individually, both weapons use the same enhancements and special abilities. If you have weapon focus or similar abilities in one of the weapon groups of a form of the morphic weapon, it extends to the other form as well. Morphic Weapons are Exotic Weapons but can be treated as Martial Weapons if they don't use the Morphing Capabilities of the weapon and the Base Weapon is Martial. Morphic Weapons cost +2000gp and an extra +1000gp if it's an altered morph form weapon. Morphic Weapons cost an extra +500gp the first time you enchant them and a Paired Morphic Weapon costs 50% more in total to Enchant. Melee and Ranged Weapons are both Valid Components of Morphic Weapons.
