Stellock Ranch

The Stellock Ranch is known to be the largest possat ranch in all of Prosia. Due to Koris Stellock's gift with animals, Stellock Ranch also has an on-site veterinary center that people near and far bring their livestock and pets for treatment. He has also started a bit of an apprenticeship program for people to come train under him as a veterinarian. He shies away from starting a full school, instead hoping to only keep a few apprentices at a time at the most.

Purpose / Function

Stellock products are rightfully marketed as best quality possat meat, milk, and pelts. Stellock leather and pelts are considered of higher quality than other possat leather goods. Stellock meat and milk are fattier than wild and most other farm-raised possat (a desirable trait for many).

Alterations

While the ranch has been passed down through the generations as a small family affair, a fire destroyed over half of the ranch buildings about 40 years ago. With the rebuilding and expansion after that, most of the structures are newer and designed around the desire to be the biggest possat ranch and largest supplier of possat goods in all of Prosia.

Architecture

Some of the older buildings hint at old Tevlo architecture, but the newer ones are typically purpose built and lack any notable cultural influence. The family home and worker boarding areas, however, show many Tevlo influences throughout. The one difference is the construction material. While many ranches and farms are typically constructed of wood and brick, the Stellock ranch is primarily constructed of stone after the devastating fire that destroyed most of the ranch.

History

So the family tells, the Stellock ranch has been in business for generations, providing pelts, meat, and milk to local villages for over a century. It wasn't until a fire that devastated the ranch over 40 years ago, leaving ownership of the ranch to a single young heir who was away "exploring the world" for a few years, that the ranch was expanded upon and grew to the size it is now.
