Stockholm by Night

During the day, the people of Stockholm live their mundane lives. They go to work, they go out on dates, they may even get into arguments or conflicts. There are some people who do not stir when the sunrays shine upon the roofs of Gamla Stan, though. They do not eat food, they do not go to work and they don't even breathe - because they are dead. Their bodies are empty and lifeless husks, hidden away behind curtains, deep underground, or sometimes even in specially built rooms to block out the light of day. However, when the sun sets and darkness falls upon the city, something stirs in these hidden places. Curtains are opened, something crawls out of a manhole and the powers that be, with their custom built havens step out of their hiding spots.   These beings are the damned, cursed with the blood of Cain to forever stalk the earth and sap its residents of their lifeblood. They are undoubtedly monsters, but monsters with friends, enemies and maybe even dreams. Under the shadow of night, the kindred live their own un-lives hidden away from the mundane world.
