Targetable Payload
This flaw represents a weapon system that remains active and destructible after launch. Unlike standard attacks, which are resolved instantaneously, a targetable payload remains in play for one or more rounds before impact, allowing enemies to intercept and destroy it.
Most commonly applied to torpedoes and large ordnance, this flaw reflects the need for physical durability, escort tactics, or diversion strategies to ensure delivery.

Most commonly applied to torpedoes and large ordnance, this flaw reflects the need for physical durability, escort tactics, or diversion strategies to ensure delivery.
Rules:
- The weapon becomes a separate object in play once fired, with its own movement and tracking.
- While in transit, it is treated as a Scale 0 object with no defences.
- It cannot dodge or resist attacks. Any hit that deals at least 1 damage automatically destroys it.
- Does not affect the weapon’s attack roll when it eventually impacts—this is handled separately.
Balance:
While visually dramatic and narratively powerful, this flaw introduces a clear counterplay window. It is particularly dangerous when used against prepared targets with fighters, point-defence turrets, or high-Sense gunners.Point Value: -1 Point
Common Uses:
- Small Torpedoes that must be protected while they close the distance.
- Bombardment drones or autonomous warheads in prolonged engagements.
- Scenario-based ordnance requiring player coordination and escort strategy.
