Posest Letër

Rozhal was so excited on his first day of work at the Grand Archive Library. Since he was a young lad, he dreamt of being surrounded by such important books, letters and documents. The one letter Rozhal cannot wait to study is what is known as King Myghchaell's letter of possession. He still remembered the only time he saw the letter when it was on display in the museum. That was more than ten cycles ago, but he still remembered the beautiful calligraphy and the moving proses the King utilized.

The Posest Letër was written by King Myghchaell a few cycles after his son's birth, just before his own death. This document is part love letter to his wife and son, where the king in an uncharacteristic moment, laid his heart all over the papyrus. He apologized to his wife Christiana for his shortcomings and vowed, like he did on their wedding day long ago, to be a better man that deserves her heart. To his son Christian, he declared how proud he was to have such a charming and studious young son.

This is where the letter becomes a decree where the king declares the rules of succession for generations to come. He explains how the newly formed Pwerus Kuintë will be able to help the throne for generations to come. He also explains the limitations of the quintet.

Possibly feeling the end was near, King Myghchaell ended with a call to arms, promising Steeghan to always oppose those who attempt to cripple the kingdom's prosperity. In this world and in the next.

Being a fusion of personal and legal fascinated Rozhal to no end. As soon as he finished his assignment for the day, he rushed to the north wing where influential documents were studied by scholars. It took him only an instant to realize the letter he was reading was not the Posest Letër but a poor imitation. After alerting his supervisor of the mistake, using the first decree King Myghchaell wrote to show the disparity in writing, he left the Grand Archive Library and made his way home.

That is how Rozhals first day of work at the kingdom's most prestigious library, also became his last.

Oh, poor Rozhal! What a letdown. Good article, though. :)
