Sagittarius Alpha

Core of the Milky Way

Sagittarius Alpha (Sagittarius A*) is the core black hole of the Milky Way galaxy, as well as the capital of the Core Union. It only has three planets, two of which are scorched desert worlds with blasted atmospheres, but one is the temperate carbon world with an active atmosphere and ideal temperatures. Sagittarius Alpha is also historically significant for being the first black hole to be traveled to by humanity.

Geography

Sagittarius Alpha has a large accretion disk made of matter taken from nearby stars. It also has three planets: Horgust, Matthew's Keep, and Theia. Horgust is a scorched desert world with a thin atmosphere and low gravity. It is comparable to the less hot planet mercury of the long lost Sol System. Matthew's Keep is similar to Horgust, expect less hot and larger. There is a prosperous factory colony built on the south pole called Hanson City. Theia is much farther away from Sagittarius Alpha than Horgust and Matthew's Keep. It has an atmosphere made mostly of nitrogen and carbon, with some traces of helium, oxygen, hydrogen, etc. Theia also has interesting surface features such as seas of crude oil, fields of diamond crystals, and great dunes of carbon sand. There are some beta microbial lifeforms on Theia, although they were brought over when humanity discovered Theia. It has many great cities, stemming from old colonies built in times long past.

Fauna & Flora

There are beta microbes that were brought from old world colonies when Sagittarius Alpha was travelled to.
