Palasos Defense Bird

When danger is afoot within the colony, the Palasos Defense Bird is the first on the seen investigating and defense it's people. However during their off time they help the service workers ride around the colony to reduce travel time and help build their home. A staple mode of transportation with the human colonies.

Colony Support:

Normally they act as defenders during the initial setup of the settlement, but as it begins to grow and defense are established, their need for defensive practices dwindle. This made them more valuable as police and transportation. They could carry or move large loads, carry passengers around the colony, and many more jobs. Instead of defense they slowly have become more support members of the colony. When the transition is complete their activities become more docile and actively try to help instead of protecting. They will actively try to have people ride them as it would be noted that it would be their favorite pastime.

City Travel:

In the slums of many cities in the galaxy, these are birds are quick, agile, dangerous, and cost very little to maintain. This makes them the perfect form of travel for the poor as well as the thugs of the galaxy. Many gangs such them as intimidation weapons or even simple methods of escaping from a crime. For the most respected folk, thye help get from place to place without the cost of a more fashionable vehicle.

The Wealthy:

On occasion the wealthy who own large pieces of land use them as a riding animal. Due to their extremely friendly nature to their "flock members". Cultural it is seen as a way to flaunt your money and your inserts within nature.
