The Strand

An immense urban canyon cutting across nearly the entirety of Verticle city like a scar. The entire length of the Strand is an open-air street, crowded with shops, markets, music clubs, bars, cafes, vendows and almost enything else you could want. The Strand is nearly always teeming with a wide mix of beings from every corner of the galaxy.

While the nucleus of the Strand is reasonably safe, for the Lowers, the tendrils and alleyways leading away from the center, and it's ends can be quite dangerous, perhaps even moreso than less dense areas of the Lowers. Even along the mains of the Strand, a tourist needs watch his back...and his wallet!
