Kemono

Kemono are a sentient species of animal-like people. There are three general body types that a Kemono may possess - Bipedal, Quadripedal, and Merlike. Kemono are also split into three identifiable ethnicities, referred to in Common as Fur Kemono, Scale Kemono, and Feather Kemono. This species is native to Nitsuri, but can be found in locations all over the world.

Bipdedal Kemono resemble Humans the most out of all ethnicities. They are on average a bit shorter than the average Human. They retain characteristics of a specific animal, dependant on their ethnicity, usually in the form of ears, fins, digits, limbs, skin color, or general facial features. Quadripedal Kemono still resemble the Human, but only from the waist up. Bipedal characteristics apply from there, but from below the waist they have the lower body (from the base of the neck down) of a quadripedal animal, totalling six limbs. With their four legs on the ground, they tend to be around the same average height as a Human. Merlike Kemono, too, retain the same characteristics for the upper body, but the lower body is the body of a fish or other aquatic animal. This body type is exclusive to aquatic Scale Kemono.
