Spiritpunk

Since time immemorial, the two worlds of spirits and mortals had been connected. This intermingling brought forth a sense of stability to the spirit world, and a sense of change and wonder to the mortal world. This mix has lead to a great number of spirits that took up residence in the mortal world, giving up most or all of their spiritual powers, and with mortals living in the spirit world, transcending their simple shells. It has also lead to great magics that permeate both worlds, as well as a large amount of traditions and rituals pertaining to the relationship and communication between spirits and mortals.
