A cunning captain of the biggest pirate fleet in the ocean who mysteriously rose to fame nearly 15 years ago.
Nobody knows where he came from, but legends say he was the only man ever to be trained in the Moon Order before he tragically fell into the ocean and later has been washed ashore, hence the white color of his hair. The others who met him say the world hardened him to the point that his hair turned white at the age of 40. Nobody knows for sure, but everyone is wary when his name comes up in the conversations, since everyone who talks ill about Pearl of the Ocean gets dealt with quickly.
The thing Pearl of the ocean is most famous for is his fan he carries on his person at all times. It looks simple, but holds a great power: with just one sweep it summons a hundred wind spirits to create a storm. His ships always sail even on calm days, and can change course whenewer the captain wishes, which gives a huge advantage in battle. Some say that he won it in a gamble with Ariel, God of Winds themself, some say he simply stole it and payed with an eye, which he covers ever since.
The saying goes, "Seas are wast, but the Pearl's fleet is bigger". Indeed, the wastness of it intimidates navy and merchants, but somehow, after a decade of terror, things have gone quieter. After becoming almost invincible, Pearl of the Ocean laid low, since there is no one to pick a bone with. Seeing the end of his stellar career, bruised and bored, he takes a plucky crew of heroes on board, to help them get to the place only he can go...

Personal history
Was born a girl in a noble family and given up to a Water Dragon spirit's family to grow up along him as his future bride. As much as two kids loved each other and as rich as a Water Dragon's palace was, young Pearl never felt comfortable at the bottom of the ocean, missing her family, abundance of fresh eartly fruit, and warm sunlight of her home. She started dreaming of the miriades of futures she might have had if she wasn't bound by her fate. Once Pearl turned 18 and the wedding was due, Pearl quietly left the palace and swam up to the shore, never to be seen in the underwater palace again. She wondered the world, but the sea wouldn't let her go that easily. Pearl wound up on the pirate ship again, again, and again, had to learn to fight and rule to prove her worth, and with a newfound masculinity and thirst for adventure he, the Pearlof the Ocean, became a captain.
