Hobbits

Off all the intelligent species I've met on my travels, the Hobbits were by far my favourite. After their initial surprise that I wasn't 'one of those folks from the south' and was actually from another planet, they welcomed me wholeheartedly. Their lifestyles seemed to be those of hard work and commitment to family and friends as their stories confirmed. Humble and kind as they were, their cooking was one of their proud talents. Their pride was earned however, for to this day I still use their pumpkin soup recipe!
— Gilleon Galley, about his first impression of the Hobbits.
