Crystal Shells

Crystal shells encompass the known galaxy and are a barrier to the outlying Phlogiston. Courageous expeditions out of our crystal sphere led to the discovery of other spheres of this kind. No one has reached such spheres to this day, but it is postulated that they may contain worlds and species foreign to ours. To this day it is unknown who or what created the crystal spheres or why they are here. Some of the thinkers of the old age stated that these barriers were upheld by the Gods themselves. Which might prove to be true, as there is no way of breaking these barriers, not even trough the effect of a wish spell!
