The World Unexplored: Book 1

Introduction

Halorus is a big place; some of us have been fortunate enough to travel around the whole planet. To create The World Unexplored, I had to gather some of our planet's top explorers; this project was a huge undertaking, and it couldn’t have been done without the following people:
  • Zolodria: Our Dragon-Man who made it possible to travel the seas. We couldn’t have done it without you.
  • Parker Boone: One of our only humans on the trip. He made all the mapping and charting possible. Without him, we would have gotten lost.
  • Serenity Savage: Thank you for watching over us. I know you didn’t want to be a den mother, and I know you were apprehensive about joining us, but I am glad you did. Thank you for making sure we didn’t starve or I didn’t die from some random plants.
  • Me! I am Damian Fox, the only half-orc on this trip. I have been in charge of speaking to people!
  • Rotmond GrayBlood and his wife Tazma GrayBlood: Your dwarven tribe was kind enough to lend us the tools we needed for this project. We couldn’t have traversed the land, especially the snow, without you.
I want to take a moment to thank our sponsors:
  • Heatiton, Academy of Sorcery: Thank you for providing the magic we use to survive. Thank you for keeping us young so we could complete this mission.
  • Epaxerra, Academy of Witchcraft: Thank you for providing the funds we needed for this trip. Without you, none of this would be possible.

How did we explore the world?

We first divided our teams and sailed to where we thought the ends of our world were. Previously it was assumed everything we couldn’t see was water, and that proved to be false. We sailed one hundred miles past the Kingdom of Vinaria, whose people were kind enough to let us stay and study the land. The other team sailed one hundred miles past the United Tribes of Warinland; the tribes provided us with safe passage and a place to rest. I can safely recommend visiting both sites.   There is a lot of water; the ocean goes on for miles and miles. Once we met up again, we decided to go past the Kingdom of Vinaria and sail until we saw land. The marine life was beautiful! This trip also showed us we needed to get a better boat. The landmass we saw was breathtaking.   We would continue this process going in both directions until we couldn’t anymore. At times this was hard; some areas of our planet are ultimately landlocked. Leaving the boat was scary, but we did it anyway. We could never gather too much information about each location, but we collected some maps and some names. You will find this information deeper in this book.

Beyond Vinaria

There are 12 locations we were able to learn about.
  1. Berya: Kingdom: Beryan Kingdom
  2. Redker: Empire: Empire of Redker
  3. Alrada: Kingdom: Alradan Kingdom
  4. Tunstan: Empire: Tun Empire
  5. Srenia: Federation: Federation of Srenia
  6. Solarkia: Divine Empire: Solarkian Divine Empire
  7. Eykir: Principality: Principality of Eykir
  8. Methos: Tribes: Tribes of Methos
  9. Haystan: Hoard: Hay Horde
  10. Scidretria: Dutchy: Scidretrian Dutchy
  11. Agosia: Holy State: Holy State of Agosia
  12. There is a land that was too cold for us to visit but we are told people live there.

How do these locations operate?

I find it interesting that these locations are able to coexist. Especially the empires, I would kill to know the history. I would also like to dive into what a holy state and divine empire is, we have never heard of such things before.

Safety first!

We couldn’t stop and interact with the locals too much. Although I wanted to, this would have to be a mission for another time. One we all planned to undertake after we had finished all the mapping.   Once we had to leave the boat, we knew the danger was real. For the most part, we stayed on the shoreline and interacted with people as they came to us. Some of these races were indeed something to behold. It is through these minor interactions that we learned about the land.   During one of the moments where we were onshore. I found a crab his name was Limon, we later ate him, and it was divine. These crabs taste so pure and have so many natural flavors. We ended up drawing a lot of creatures.
