Nevermore Session 0

Welcome to Nevermore; before you get too comfortable, let’s start this season 0. Session 0 will be available here for as long as World Anvil is still standing! Hell, I might even post it on the website because I can. So let’s get talking!

Expectations

I do not expect you to read and memorize every drop of lore I throw at you. We have the notes channel and the World Anvil.
I do expect:

• You use the correct discord channels.
• Keep side chatter out of the text-based channel.
• Come to me with any concerns, do not hold them in. Please.
• Be kind to the other players and participate when you can.
• Follow the server rules.
• Keep track of your character sheet.
• The consent in gaming sheet is filled out and sent to me.
• Please understand that everyone can be available at different times. If I (the dm) am not available, bond with your party! If I am available, talk to NPCs at any time! Do not get mad if someone can not respond, but at the same time, do not get mad if the game decides to move without you.

The Motion of the Ocean

Sometimes players will want to do something or explore something that you do not want to explore or do. Sometimes a player will like an NPC you cant stand. I ask that you learn how to make compromises, this is a big Megaverse, and I do not ask that you all like the same things. I ask that you be considerate to your other players.

Have something you want to explore?

Tell me! Want to learn more about werewolves? Tell me! Want more side quests? Tell me! Just because our game is about the pairs doesn't mean other facets of the Megaverse can not be explored.
We have a lot of time, which means we can explore a lot! You have to speak to me, and we can see what can be done.

Combat

Combat is tricky in text-based.

• We will roll initiative like always, you will have a few minutes to respond to that before we move on.
• You will have a max of 10 minutes to respond to your turn, after that we will skip you.
• When possible, we will do combat fast.
• You can roll with the bot in the discord, I will roll in discord or in the dndbeyond app.

Romance

• Romance is allowed; if you want to have sex, please fade to black. You can also come to my PMS, but please ask me before you try ERP.
• Respect the boundaries of your fellow PCs. If they end up wanting to date an NPC, don’t get jelly; just go with the motion of the ocean.
• Please respect all sexual orientations.

I will be posting NPCs, Quests, and more on the world-anvil, and I suggest you follow along as closely as you can. There is a section for everything, so please attach your character and feel free to look around.
