A plane slightly separate from reality where imaginary friends and nightmares long forgotten roam threatened by a mysterious force eating away at their world, and it doesn't seem to plan on stopping there.  

A mostly barren desert split by a massive sea, made livable by the inhabitants through the development of towns and roads. Every century there is a cleansing of the world, a way to make room for more inhabitants, which often comes in the form of a war or natural disaster. However, the thirteenth cleansing has been botched and its power has been bestowed upon two new arrivals, one of which plans to use it to destroy Somnium and the mortal world! With the help of old friends and new allies, the other arrival must stop the destruction of their new home whilst confronting their fears and checkered past.   (Hey, I'm a relatively new writer and have had this project in my mind for a looooong time, pretty much since I was 12. Any comments or criticisms are welcome, any help you can provide shows me that people are interested in this and keeps me working!)
