Luna City

The capital city of the province of Luna.

Government

Luna City functions like a mostly independent city-state. It is under the jurisdiction of the Patrian Government, but this fact does not often come into play. The city has a council elected by a popular single transferable vote. Other than that they work the courts write local laws, balance the budget, and collect taxes, like any city on Patriam.

Geography

Luna City is on the east side of the Lavender Peaks mountain range along Frog River. The City is in a valley between the mountains and the estuary at the end of the river.
