The demonbinders' sanctuary was overrun by the Beast's hounds. But they alone could not have defeated us. The Beast's savior is the one and only Maiden of the Night herself, Nocticula. She herself was the one to lead the rabid monsters in, and as the dirty work was done, and the guardians fallen, she began a demonic ritual. I had given my all and was slowly dying some distance away from the monolith, only able to observe in horror. The entire home of the Narfelli sank through the earths, myself, the Beast and his prison with it. It quickly became obvious that we were far from home, and the Beast was free.
The defence of the sanctuary was my responsibility, and I have failed. I write this with the last bit of my power so that you may know what alliance between two Lords of the Abyss was struck on this day.
