The Ever-Standing
"The sand glimmered brightly as I formed the final brick, meaning that Takk himself was proud of our achievement. Our new home is complete! It only took the dreams of a hopeful tribe, a powerful Sandcaster and chief (who I so humbly admit to be myself), and a curious fennec..."
-Pau'dhul, chieftan of the Ever-Standing
The Ever-Standing is the ruins of a tower built by humans in Takk'ona. Built by a small tribe, it was quickly abandoned after it was put under siege by one of the major tribes many years ago. Inside the tower, carved in the walls and covering all of them, is the tower's history written by the chief of the tribe, Pau'Dhul.

History
In the year 104, The Ever-Standing was built by a minor human tribe with the assistance of a young fennec named Tenna. Near an area known to contain many springs, The tribe wanted to find a better way to protect themselves, so they created what they would soon call the Ever-Standing. All of the other tribes disapproved of their ways, and were angered at their permanent settlement. Over the next year, a major battles were fought there, causing springs to cease appearing due to the bloodshed. Only a few hundred hours after, the few remaining tribesmen, mostly women (most of the men died fighting), struck out to fend for themselves. Some managed to join other tribes, and others simply died of thirst, starvation, or Takk'ara ambushes.
