Creation
There used to be nothing. Nothing in the universe, because there was no universe. Until there was something, unexplained on how she came to be. Mother Time, the first omnipotent being, the Creator, the Time Keeper. She wasn't the only one who came to be. The Goddess of Prophecies was there as well. They always listened to each other, about their ideas and prophecies.
There came a point when Mother Time was unable to continue imagining because she saw all the prophecies she was told play out in front of her. When the Goddess of Prophecies took note of this, she took some fabric of time, weaving it into a special that prevents her from being able to see them before they happen, but at the cost of no one else being able to see her eyes.
Eventually, Mother Time created light and dark, her first children, Intasu and Intabus, with contrasting hair, Intasu having light, white blonde hair and Intabus having black hair as dark as darkness itself. But even within their nothing, they always wanted something. All there was was light and dark, nothing else. When Mother Time created the universe, she weaved it from the fabrics of time, creating its fabrics and her third child Vishturso, the divine ruler of the universe. Intasu used this to create stars, which shone bright throughout her brother's realm.
It was around this time the the Goddes of Prophecies vanished, leaving behind her notebook with all her prophecies written in it.
While Intasu was creating stars, lighting up the universe, Intabus created other matter. He built it up small, slow, and steady, wanting it to be perfect. He called it "rock" and "dust". He formed this into spheres and making them move around stars, creating "orbit" and "planets". He encouraged all of his family to make planets with him, adding more to the universe. Smaller spheres orbited the planets, called "moons". With these planets, came a set of triplet deities those who manage the "lifecycle" of planets with life, death, and chaos. These deities were Theri, the goddess of life with tanned skin and light hair, Thankoli, the god of death with ghostly pale skin and contrastingly dark hair, and Chalaih, the goddess of chaos with hands over her face covering her mouth, looking as an almost perfect mix of her siblings.
The thing with planets and moons is that they tended to crash into each other and create a red-orange liquid substance. They simply left it the way it was, not knowing what they could do with it.
Each planet was unique from the last, variations in color and material. But that was all, dust and rock, until they got Theri to make a planet.
When she did, it, along with the two moons it was given, was covered in green fuzz, but it also felt sharp. "Grass", Mother Time called it. Unlike the rest of the planets, this one shook about, as if something was inside it, or the planet itself was alive. Mother Time held the planet and moons as if they were young deities. She wraped them in some fabric of time, causing the shaking to quicken and be more violent.
Eventually, the three objects cracked, opening one by one. First, the planet, creating a young deity named Galyin, god of nature, with dark skin and long, curly dark hair which faded into a similar green to the grass on the planet he came from. From the larger moon came Asimfu, god of animals, with similar dark skin and short, lighter curly hair. From the smallest moon came the goddess of storms, Akocha, with long, wavy hair a similar color to Galyin.
These three went to different planets they saw fit and gave them ecosystems and cycles that changed depending on the planet, but it was mostly only one of them per planet. With this came more deities, refered to as the Secondary Deites, as they weren't the first deities to kickstart bringing life to the universe.
From the red-orange liquid that was around the dead planets, Galyin sculpted a more humanoid/deity-like creature, and showed it to Mother Time, who took it and created Katlemai, the goddess of fire with tanned skin and hair that looked as if it was made of fire itself. Akocha's storms created areas of "water" from one of the largest the water goddess, Ganlassa, with her pale skin shining in the stars and hair imitating the flow of water. Also with the storms, came "wind" and the formed wind god Veotus, with long, flowing, silver hair and pale skin.
Chalaih went around some of the planets and spun them around as they orbited the starts Intasu made. This caused two more deities to be formed. Malifa, the goddess of the night and moons, with dark skin and long black hair specked with white resembling the night sky, and Intomun, the god of the day and stars, with short, platinum blond hair and tanned skin, showing the bright light a star gives a planet outside lf the night.
There was one planet that all of the elemental gods took interest in, which they called Solistecea. Ganlassa created "oceans", large bodies of water leaving some rock exposed, which Galyin covered in flora and plantlife for the "land" surrounding the ocean. Asimfu added animal life of all kinds, in the ocean and on the land. Akocha implemented a system of weather that is mostly unpredictable, working with other deities to make this undisturbed no matter what happens.
Then humans were created. There is no agreement on which deity, but all deities gave different humans a different ability, such as Ganlassa giving them the ability to control water, or Intasu allowing them to bend lights.
When humans started learning about their powers, some with the help of the deities themselves, they started creating for themselves. They crafted a variety of things, from writing songs in favor of the deities to statues carved into stone for worship and prayer to put things in their favor.
Summary
Mother Time created the universe, but she didn't make every single thing in it, all of the Main Deities created something.
Historical Basis
There is no historical basis, this myth is simply an explanation for how the deities made the universe.
Spread
This is the most widespread myth about the creation of the universe, and the main connection between all religions on Solistecea. Along with this, most religions agree on how the creation if the universe went, with some small variations throughout the story, mostly in order of which deity was created when.
Variations & Mutation
Throughout the history of this myth, there are different variations of how the deities came to be, and their order of creation. An example of this is the Embern variation, where Vishturso and the universe were created first, before Intasu and Intabus.
There is a much rarer version of the myth where Intasu and Intabus were first, before Mother Time, and created her to go on and create the universe and the rest of the deities.
A different version includes Mother Time and the Goddess of Prophecies to be the same being, as the Goddess isn't mentioned in any other myths unless said by mortals.
However, the version protrayed here is the most common and excepted version of the myth.
Cultural Reception
This myth is important to all religions and cultures as this give people something to believe in how the universe was crafted, and some believe a dimilar thing is happening on other planets dar away from them.
In Literature
This myth is one of the most consistant written myths out of all of the ones written down, with the same points and similar order of creation. It shaped the way all other myths were written and passed down.
This myth is also a basis for many poems and books, being an insparation for people to praise the deities or start writing their own version of it for a different world. One of the most popular variations of the deities and creation is the fictional world where there was only one deity, specifically called a god, that created everything.
This myth was known for being insparational, giving humans the creativity to write up their own worlds and share them with people, calling it fantasy.
In Art
There is a lot of art depicting different parts of the myth, most of which depicting each of the dieties as fully grown unless they were just created. Mother Time was always depicted somewhere, whether it be she was much larger than all of them, leaving her head out of the picture, or she would be seen "looking" at the other deities, wearing the veil the Goddess of Prophecies made for her, obscuring her eyes. There are also many pieces depicting specifically the creation of Solistecea, springing to life with the touch of the deities.
Most of the art is in paintings and songs. The paintings are often rich in color, and display a contrast of colors which show the contrasting deities creating the balanced universe they know of.
Each song is different in what it's saying. Most of the songs have some lyrics relating to Mother Time as the Divine Creator. Some of them are specific to certain deities, suchas Galyin and Asimfu for creating the land and forest they live in and the wildlife they tame and hunt. The songs are also, though only occasionally, prayers to the deities. Some examples are a prayer to Akocha to bring good weather for a festival or rain for the crops, or to Intomun to let the sun shine brightly in the sky on a certain day. Some are even prayers to Galyin or Asimfu to vring livestock and food to a village or nation.
