Solis

A medieval fantasy world ravaged by racial tension and conflict, where the 7 major nations are divided into their own specific genus of anthropomorphic bipeds, and they have to somehow share one supercontinent.   An otherworldly event takes place that shifts the balance of power. The feline emperor's son goes missing, a strange crystal from the heavens crashes into the land, those near it gain strange powers - not unalike magic, and a nuclear accident wipes almost all of the most technologically advanced nation, the reptiles, off the map.   200 years pass, the felines have control over the crystal from space, they culled their neighbours to their knees, with help from the strange powers given by the crystal, and though he should be 242 years old by now, their emperor is allegedly still alive, but nobody has seen him since his escape from the Solis Council prison, shortly after he was found next to the crystal the day it landed. There are rumours going around that the felines are planning world domination using the power of the crystal.   From the ashes of a 200 year long nuclear winter, the reptiles slowly getting back on their feet, digging up old-world tech and artifacts, and living lives as bandits and nomads in a desert wasteland. Tensions begin to rise as races from all over come to the nuclear wasteland to dig up forgotten history, and perhaps find the cause of the accident.
