The One Who Chose to be Forgotten

Summary

The god of mystery, knowledge, the weave, hope, the stars, sunlight, beginning and end, his name forgotten and so are his artifacts, he is the one who bring the sun at dawn and helps the moon rise the night. His priesthood is less of a worshiping one, but, because of the lack of information about the god, his priesthood act more as scholars and researchers.

Worshipers & Priests

The worshipers of the forgotten god are more worshiper by heart as there aren’t many ways to worship the god, so it is a very personal form of worship for each worshipper. The priesthood are not conventional priests but rather scholar, philosophers, astronomers, researchers, and other types of knowledge seekers attempting to figure out the truth around the god.

Churches

The churches of the forgotten god are not churches rather are great library holding information form every possible in order to help the priests discover the truth and the greatest is the inquisition hall the biggest and grandest of the libraries within The City of Blessed Light.

Tenets

Have hope and believe that I will bring it to you. Be not fearful of beginnings or ends for all are orchestrated by me. Be like me, bringers of hope to those who need it. Be not fearful of the arcane, seek my guidance and it will be given as it is my weave. Understand that in all my actions there is reason and fear not for I have a plan for all.

The Mysterious Departing: Is the story about when the forgotten god departed from the pantheon for an unknown but positive reason.

Description

The only description is just a representation rather than being born out of any other knowledge and it shows the god as a cloak of dark blue with a humanoid shape of the night sky with stars or a day sky with a beautiful sun but both versions share this hopeful infectious smile on where the face would be on his shape.

Prayers

While no official prayers to the Forgotten God are known to exist, his tenets lead all his worshipers and priests to have their own individual, personal prayers to the god.

The only practice till now is the research and study of the Forgotten God in an attempt to discover the truth about him/her.

Holidays

7th of Eleasis: The day of union, where people commemorate the union between the great light and the great darkness as well as the zenith of the sun, usually include a march from the cathedral of dawn to the twilight grove.
The day where both moons are full or new: The day of transference, a day to remember the transference of the domains of freedom and change to the lady usually celebrated by gift exchange.
