During his time as an Slayer he faced a zombified Hill Giant that ripped off his right arm, it was at this point that Joss decided to retire as a Slayer and started selling many of his Monster Trophies and the treasures that he had collected; with exceptions; and sold them he made deals with many of his Slayer and Adventurer allies and sold many different exotic objects and quickly rose as the richest Merchant in Paradise Stand and began donating his money to many Orphanages in Paradise Stand and to many in Paradise Stand he is considered to be one of the kindest people in the city. He is also one of the biggest advocates for racial equality on Solaris
