Summary: Hassan is the definition of Money is Power. He is the second richest man in Paradise Stand, the only one richer than he in the Republic is the Sultana herself, but that doesn't stop him from being so frugal that he believes he will surpass even the Crown before he dies. While his penny pinching methods make Hassan not very popular amongst the general population, he is still well respected by most due to his business practices and the fact he knows how to make a good deal into an even better one. Hassan took over as the Guild Master after the previous one was proven to be a Truth of the Underworld sympathizer. Hassan wasted no time liquidating all of the previous Master's Estate to bolster the Guilds crafts. This, in turn, allowed him to quickly absorb the Crafts Guilds that were formerly much bigger than them. Turning the Immaculate Trade Guild into the true powerhouse that it is today.
