Eine neue Zeit, eine neue Welt, ein alter Feind.
The world of the 21st century was destroyed. Nothing remains of the once great civilisation of old, but ruins and some left over tech. Six hundred years after the Arca, a species of extra terrestrial life, arrived on earth, to escape an even greater threat, new civilizations have formed in the last inhabital parts of the globe.
Since the Devastation, from which the Arca origionally fled also arrived on earth, Humanity is caged in with a beast. Neither Arca nor Humans can ascape the harsh world in which they now must live in. Life is often short and brutal.
Now humanity fights with all it has left, while the new arrivals of earth have also begun building a new home for themselves. A never ending struggle for survival, in a new world of vast wildernesses and constant conflicts, rages on and on.
But the sons and daughters of men are divided as alwasy, luckily for them, and much to their disliking, the Arca seem to be quite similar to their new neighboors, when it comes to infighting.
But many are concerned. The Arca are savage Beasts that must be killed, but the things that live within the regions of earth that have been tainted by the devastation are even worse.
For now the devastation stays silent, all hope it stays this way.
