The Other

Before the beginning, there was the nothing and everything and they were one and the same. But then there was the beginning, The First Breath, the moment time began and The Other suddenly was.
The Other is the patron god of gods, the first being that pulled all other beings from that which was not them. They reached back into the mess of creation, that which was not them, and pulled forth the first star. That star was followed by another and another until there was stars all around them all they were pleased for a time. But that time passed and The Other grow discontent. The stars were other then the primordial storm but they were not like The Other. So they reached passed the stars and pulled out the light. But this did not please The Other so they keep pulling. Earth, water and air flew into at into the spaces between the light and stars as they ripped into creation.
The Other, searched and searched, not knowing what they were looking for. Only that they had not found it. They pulled and pulled until something other stared back, and The Other was truely pleased. This creature stared at The Other in confusion.
"What are you?" It asked.
"You are not me." The Other replied. "You are another."
"Anthr?" It asked. "I am Anthr."
And so, the first god was born. They pulled more and more, drawing forth the Primal Gods and the Patron Gods.
The Other is the first breath incarnate, the first though manifest. They have no form known to Mortalings and the gods will not say and may, in truth, not know themselves. But their presents is known, for as Mortalings pray to the gods the gods pray to The Other. What they beseech from the being, the Mortaling can not imagine.
